Awesome, Whats the situation with Aussie customs will i have to pay import duty? How long did your stuff take to arrive?

If buying from the US is easy i might have to get some more bits now i've decided to keep the thing :)

For a good sounding exhaust, alot of people on here have been raving about the "Town and Country" exhaust system down in geelong. I think its around the 1k mark.

freight costs are a killer. There seems to be very little choice for most consumers who have no real opportunity of taking advantage of competitive rates eg business rates. If you know someone/ business regularly shipping from US it can be attractive. The ex works price can easily double by the time you take delivery. You can buy an exhaust from T&C Geelong for a lot less than $1K.

I had an interesting conversation with a uk based supplier who can supply original oem skirts from Mazda in a range of colours for the nb, the only problem is I will need to buy in bulk so if anyone is interested pm me for more info.

I checked with the guy in the US who had a set of side skirts in Garnett Red for an NB listed at $195. He quoted me $80 freight to Australia but said he would fold them to make freight cheaper? That sort of put me off the whole idea even though he said he has sent them folded up previously with no damage to the side skirts.

Just received Side skills, rear spoiler and mudflaps from the fella on ebay - chrysler-w.
I too was concerned when he said that USPS would not send a package that allowed the sills to be sent at full length. I got him to quote Fedex and @ $290 I though that was more money than Fedex deserved.
Finally I searched his feedback listing and found 6 people from outside the US who had bought the sills in the past 6 months. I messaged them all. Within 2 days I'd received 3 replys. All saying that their parts had been bent, and that they had arrived with no problems. One guy had even had a front lip spoiler bend in half and shipped to Germany - he was happy to say he had no issues and loved the parts on his car.
So I bit the bullet, bought the parts and waited 10 days for them to arrive via USPS and Australia Post. Well I have to say they look great, most of the shape returned in the first 10 minutes. I'm now looking at putting them out in the sun to get the last little signs of them being bent out of them. Also, reading and re-reading instructions to finalize my plans to get them on my car.
Cheers
Andrew
