Has anyone had any success bolting a fix back seat to the floor of an NA?
Its just that I'm 6"6 and i cant go on with slouching in the car so I can fit.
I realise while I'm 21 its ok(ish) but when I'm older It's not going to be worth it, so I will have to sell the car before this happens

PS: I've already taken out the foot rest.

Which model MX-5 do you have? Have you looked at removing some of the foam from the seat to provide more space? I have seen this discussed on the big forum. Some of the more tall members of this forum will probably share their fixes as well.

Plenty of people around with fixed back seats on lower rails or floor mounted. I've seen a write up somewhere before but can't for the life of me remember where. Maybe miata.net?
