Rear hood glass hitting bar.

Postby module22 » Wed Jun 02, 2010 9:41 pm

Hey guys,

I just bought a new roll bar and silly me didn't ask whether it fits a NB soft top in an NA.

So now i cannot put the roof all the way down as the rear glass window hits the bar.

I was thinking of just replacing the window with plastic but im guessing its easier said than done.

Thoughts?

Really appriciate any help.

Have you tried jiggleing the rear glass?
You might be able to raise and lower the roof by either lifting the glass clear or pushing it down.

There is some fexibility there, so some judicious force may just make it work for you.

Yeh might look into buying a another bar as a last resort.

Had a go jiggling it last night and putting the glass in different positions when roof goes down. Will try again tonight.

thanks for the suggestions fellas.
