Hi,
Just purchased some clear indicators, and was wondering what the trick was with removing the standard ones?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks

have a look on the sides of the indicator ( i cant remember if its on the left or right) there will be a clip, all you need is a philips head as sliq said, should come right out.

Or .. do you mean the ones on the 1/4 panel?
Use something blunt, an old plastic video card etc might do, or a blunt butter knife (so you dont scratch the paint), then i think the tab is on the side facing the rear of the car, slide your tool under the rear side of the 1/4 panel indicator and it should release the tab that holds them in.
If you look at your replacement items you'll see the tab I mean.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I find a flat blade screw driver and a rag/cloth of some sort so you don't scratch the car does the trick.

I found the best way of removing them without any risk of damaging the paint is to open the door halfway so you can see the tab then just use something long to press on the tab from the inside (push it towards the front of the car), I used a ruler to do mine.

the signalling lights side mounted on the front mudguards are commonly known as side repeaters.
