Custom gear & hand brake boot

Postby blackster » Tue Jul 21, 2009 8:50 pm

My first attempt at it, dont consider myself a seamstress; for the amount of time spent preparing & sewing; it would work out cheaper to purchase "Benny's boots".

The rim of the boot was measured/cut to fit snug over the lower part of the the voodoo knob.

Positive or negative feedback welcomed, no plans of putting it into production.

Thanks, I believe you would sack me due to inefficency, the making of the boot was more from a inquistive point of view, I have no plans of being a seamstress.

What i will say, is that making of the boot; was alot harder and took longer to do then it was to install it.

I posted it on the jdm, a number of people have asked for custom boots, you may have a few enquiries, as I pointed them your way.

Really nice work, shows what good value Benny's boots are.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

They look just like bought ones! Excellent work, even if it wasn't as efficient as buying one already made, its got to be way more satisfying every time you get in the car :)
