a/c condensor/evaporator?

ok, the otehr day it was raining heavily, and I drove for about an hour with my aircon on to defrost the windscreen.

settings were full cold, windscreen vent, full fan, full aircon, fresh air

anyway, the day after, my passenger footwell was damp..... and on every right hand turn water started gushing out (a steady stream, I swear it just kept coming! probably a good 2-3 litres!)

anyway, would this be the evaporator tray thing overflowing because I had the a/c on fresh air in a humid environment for too long? I'm thinking this because the first bit of spill was salty, but after that it was fresh water.

I'm pretty sure it's not my windscreen leaking, as I've drĂven in teh rain before without a leak, the only difference was this time I used the a/c.

bloody water

The drain pipe on the pax side of the evaporator is disconnected or blocked. Peel the carpet back from the pax side of the transmission tunnel and look for the hose and check it is connected to the evaporator and to the hole in the trans tunnel wall/floor.

will do.

the water was coming from the far passenger side though? the side closer to the door.

if the pipe is blocked would it overflow from the top?
