Quick one...

How do I get the door to close more ?

When the door shuts, the panel is slightly sticking out, and it's causing the door / roof weather seals to drip water into the car.

I took some photos of the left and right door trims.. any suggestions ?

If the leading edge of the door lines up with the trailing edge of the front guard then wind the window down and bend the quarter window frame so it lines up with the A-pillar. It's pretty soft steel and bends fairly easily. If the door doesn't line up with the guard then you will needed to adjust the hinges.

Not 100% sure on the 5's at this stage, but on other cars I've owned, the solution to that was to loosen the screws on the "u-bolt" door catch on the car itself, then tap the catch in with a mallet, and then whilst holding it in, tighten it up again, as the bolt threads are moveable within the bodywork.

YMMV
