The strawberry cushion weighs a fair bit but I can't live without it there simply isnt enough padding and my but is always sore.
I drive though kfc and maccas now because its a real pain to get into and out of the car now.
I bolted the seat to the stock rails and everything fits nicely.

I will weigh the seat with the rails and let you know how much weight I have saved. (I will weigh the strawberry cushion aswell)

Hey Wun. What's going on? You've got the windblocker with speakers still on the car. That weighs a fair bit.

I was thinking the same thing , also those heavier chrome door sils, a sheet of contact would be lighter.

Just wait until you get a cage with side impact bars, it's even harder :)

If you keep eating KFC & Maccas, soon you won't fit in it.

I thought the kfc will turn into a natural cushion :D

I kinda want one of these to make it more comfortable and when you inflate it the air doesnt weigh much. (Lotus has this feature on stock seats)

Looks good, does it sit much lower than stock?

And weak man, why still have your windblocker? Whats the wet weight of your car? :P

I hope to replace it with the torq box roll bar from the GB once if it gets going??? It will weigh like 10x more than a wind blocker #sigh#
I'm reluctant to add the 19 kg of added weight, but I think the roll bar is the only way to safely install a harness into the car.

I like to lean back into the seat but its fixed vertical position doesn't let me get comfortable.
It's a little bit lower than stock probably due to the lack of padding more than anything else.

I spend about 2 hrs in the car every day, and my buttocks and back have never been so sore. I'm going to weigh it today and I will post up some pics tonight, I hope its at least half the weight of stock seats.

FFG can fit into the seat comfortably without any complaints.
(I had high hopes to use the seat to exclude obese people like FFG from entering the car so I'm a little bit disapointed in that respect)

You'd be surprised there, stock seats are fair light.
