Can I transplant a complete NB soft top from a wreck into my NA?

Yes you can, a common upgrade by NA owners who want the glass rear window vs plastic.

I guess "complete" means the frame as well. If not, you'll need to modify your frame.

There are 3 dummy switches on the right hand side of the steering wheel wun just below the air vent, i beleive that some na8's came with a demister switch for the heated hardtop.
