Apart from mania where are you guys getting the magnecor leads for NB8B from (only need 2 leads). Repco and autobarn dont stock them. Do they make them in 8.5mm for the NB8B?

they aren't worth getting overseas since the cost of shipping and conversion rates end up working out more than mania.
i remember looking at them on goodwin racing, cost of shipping was more than that of mania.

And here I am thinking for the longest time that they are made in Australia.... I guess they aren't....?
Try ringing around the bigger Autobarns cause some shops stock things others don't, otherwise try some local tuning or hot rod shops Wun.
If you're gonna get something from overseas, may as well check out what Moss Motors have in stock.
BTW, exactly which part of the "Body, paint or trim" do Ignition Leads go on?

The ones I want are 8.5 mm I think they are red and thus they look good, thus its body paint and trim.
I know +0.5 mm thickness is added weight but I hope this will slove my stumbling issues on the track when the car gets hot.
Im going to get them from mx5 parts uk...

Many of the gun tuners here(Maztech, Dalton auto and i think Dyson's) use Hurricane sillacone leads sold by Geelong Tune Up specialists,13 Dendle st Grovedale 3216 ph.52416655.
I visited one sat am and got a set for $100 but think they are more expensive than that normally.

Wun, these guys are in Mitchum, specialising in ignition for performance and race cars (often a nice range of vintage and current open wheelers there). They make up leads that match your requirements on the spot from a pretty big range of leads, caps, etc as well as your own bits. It works out a lot cheaper and quicker than name brand parts and you get to test them there and then. They'll also tell you first if your old leads really need replacing or not.

... oh, and they also stock Magnecor, in big spools, so they may be able to replace a damaged lead or two with a matching one between your existing connectors.

When I got mine done I contacted the distributor in NSW and they actually came out and the guy made un the magecore leads to the length I wanted etc. This it cost me $80 fo the 4 of them. But that was the thicker leads.
