Cavity waxing?

Postby madboy » Wed Dec 17, 2008 4:32 pm

Hey guys, i have the 5 heading in for a cut and polish and a small patch on the rear bumper painted up next week.

The guy offered to do a cavity wax to help prevent corrosion by water pooling in the doors and cavities around the rear wheels.(get your minds out of the gutters!)

Anyone done this? recommend it? draw backs? I personally have never heard of it. I have nothing against the guy for trying to upsell me...but I want to know what it is 1st and are there any benifits for a 5?

Cheers

ha !

I would not worry about it. Sounds like a waste of time and money.
