I recently got a NA8, and the centre isn't as useful or as clean as i would like it. Getting a new storage container to replace the ashtray would probably be cheaper, but I'm curious about it and if its nice, would consider it.

i'd say just get a nakamae centre console.

^That would cost $1000+ new, and not to mention will be more impractical.

The ones on Zoom Engineering's site Sliq sent me seems like the go =D But alas...Poor exchange rate. So I guess noone has actually tried the mania centre console

It looks alright, but the cup holders would bug the sh*t out of me being right next to your clutch knee. I went with a Nakamae, console, and love it. I never really needed the storage compartment in the standard console, it just always collected sh*t. Coins, receipts, pens etc. If I ever need a cupholder, I just ask my girlfriend "can you hold this for me"..

Looks like a LHD design - to move the cups away from your legs (plus I think that is a steering wheel on the left).

This console is made by IL Motorsport. You might be able to get it cheaper buying direct from them..
