having the plate like this can have potential issues if your cooling system isn't 100% up to scratch.
I would be inclined to take it off at the racetrack.

I've had it like that for some time & its been fine on some pretty hot days on the freeway as well as mountain roads & normal traffic. I've dríven some NA's at night & as soon as you give it some stick up the old pack, the temp wet straight up. If you do put it in there be prepared to remove the number plate or turn it back around until you are certain you do not have any cooling issues.

yeeeah like that. however the nb has a different front mould to the na. more room and its deeper.

i should be right i guess. i just want to have it sitting upright on the bottom of the grill. thanks for the visual part of it mate!

Why you'd want to stick the numberplate in front of the air intake is beyond me... :?
