anyone know of a good product to natureproof DIY glossy stickers/transparency sheets printed with an inkjet printer?

am having a go at making my own ninja stickers for the car & want them to be water & UV proof. i had some custom stickers made before by a webshop for the MarioKart but it's not cheap to do..

Rather than trying to dodgy it up and buy new stickers to go through your printer which will somehow magicly turn your printer ink, might just be easier to do all the art work yourself in .eps format (should save $$$) and spend your time hunting down someone who will do the stickers cheaper than last time.
