I think Boyracer can hook you up with something.
Kitkat had stripes on his but not sure if he put them on or it came with the car.

dozens of generic \"GT Stripes\" on eBay. :? Not sure if you wanna go down that route.

No one else springs to mind.

I've seen Mickfred a few times, he has a white NA with blue stripes.

They were on the car when we bought it... they are now off so it can be painted. Have the replacements waiting to go on.

GP14... just go to a sign place with your desired measurments. I have a mate that works for a sign shop so i got them off him.

Cant remember what i told him to get me but if your looking at twin stripes get something like the following:

6 X 140mm wide & 1500mm long.

Hey GP14. One of those cars in that thread is mine and I helped to stripe one of the others so I guess that means I am qualified to help :D . As Fast Freddy said in that post, we used 200mm wide vinyl with roughly a 50 mm gap in between. If you go to a reputable sign place then you can buy whatever colour vinyl you want in a 600mm width and then just get them to cut it into 3x200mm wide strips. I bought 4m but that is a bit of overkill, but I would prefer to have too much than not enough. The place I went to in Melbourne is Signarama but I'm not sure if they are in Brisbane or not. Just be sure to buy good quality 10 year outdoor vinyl and please don't pay more than $100 (it should be less). If you need any installation help just pm me

thanks all.

Kitkat do you have a pic of your car with it on. I'd like to compare your 140mm vs meanmx 200mm.

Thanks meanmx. ya we have signarama. 4 metres overkill?! So how much do you actually use? Kitkat recommends 6x1500 which i assume is 4.5 mtrs each side? I will certainly ask for help when the time comes. :D

cheers

Kitkat suggests 9m all up whereas I have 3x4m lengths so 12m all up. You will end up with a crap load left over, maybe even as much as 4m left over but you will be screwing up during the install and redoing sections :D . All lots of fun

Q. What sizes and colours can I order?
A. You can order sizes upto 600mm(60cm) in one dimmension. eg lettering can be 600mm x 5 000mm. We don't only have an extensive colour range but we also have a large amount of specialty films including chrome, carbon fibre, diamond plate, shade shifters, holographics, etc. If you have seen it, we can most likely get it. So don't be afraid to ask about different colours and materials.

I believe these stripes come as one sticker so they should be easier to fit. Just need someone else to try them.

Here is a couple of shots that I took in Tassie during a Vic Club run a few years ago.

I like the look of the two different size stripes.

Nice!!!!

I'm tempted to try them on. But I'm not sure if I'd like to leave them on permanently.

I have a quick Q regarding this to anyone working in the smash repairs industry in this forum?

If the car is looked after well (ie. regularly washed and waxed and polished), how long would you recommend I leave these decals/stripes, before shadowing becomes noticeable due to paint fade?
