removing badges - any tricks?

I am thinking of painting my badges matte black and was wondering if there are any trickes to removing the badges without damaging the paint or badges? thanks all!

They are held on with double sided tape and locating pins with clips on the back of the pins. I think you would find it hard to remove the clips without breaking off the pins. Modern badges are generally considered a non-reusable item.

use hair dryer and heat it up.. get fishing line and saw through!.. use GOO-REMOVER or Eucalyptus oil to remove any yuk!.. then polish :D

just debadged my car..

on the later models NB8B atleast there are pins on the rear... i seen them when i droped my new front end off at the plastic welder :P
