painted headlights

got up2 a few things on the weekend this was just one of the things

i used nightshades to paint the piece.

not a bad upgrade for $18

reminds me a little of the se lights, night time driving looks the same too.

looks alright

should take a pic of your 5 at eye level sorta thing instead of a down shot


mm how did you remove that plastic lens off the headlight?

to my suprise it had two screws into the plastic the hardest thing was getting the lens off the rest of the light

A friend did the same thing to his NB8B, but he only painted the headlight protector. It gives the same sort of effect.

Looks like it worked out well. What you have done is paint the bezel ( though I am not sure what\" nightshades \"is) after masking the pc lens and then re assembling. If anyone is interested the last Magna before the 380 did at the end offer on some models colour coded bezels however that was done when manuf and you could not do it once the h/lamp was assembled. As far as PC lenses are concerned these are coated to protect the PC from discolouring and deteriorating and paint and solvents on the lens can cause problems. I only wash my lenses with light detergent.

thinking about it you must have separated the lens from the bezel - i did not think that one through!
