My front skirt keeps getting scratched. I have seen a rubber strip on some that goes under the skirt to help protect it from this problem, that mainly occurs from steep drive ways etc. Does any one know what it is called and who stocks one? I can't seem to find it on any supplier web sites.
Cheers!

Hey Rod!
What you NEED is a Track Dog Racing front splitter!
That will stop the scratches!!
Dunno about the driveways though.....
(of course you could also make your own out of flat plastic sheet....)

I reckon if you say glued something to the skirt then you would end up scratching it anyway. The root cause is that either the car is too low or driveways are too steep or you are approaching them at right angles. Personally I do not grasp why guys lower their cars. In my area I have many speed humps to contend with.

is your car lowered?
mines not lowered and i get scrapped on some big speed bumps
when you lower your car you gota go side on to these bumps and driveways etc
so what happens if you have a cop behind you and you go side on over the speed bump
i bet the cops gona pull you over and think your on the piss if he/she doesn't understand why your doing it for

The car is not lowered and most of the problems have stemmed from some one (not me) taking driveways head on instead of at an angle. Better the splitter to scratch, black plastic, than the paint work.

i have that issue but my car is very very low. just get a few strips of kevlar from your local composite shop. its pretty much scratch proof and will protect your front skirt from paint damage. kevlar is almost the same colour as the gold aswell!!
98 evo gold - rotrexed and loving it.
