Finally got a new paint job 56kb warning
Hey everyone, got my car sprayed yesterday.
the paint brand is spray chief
the colour is candy pearl red glow
before i got it sprayed, i got the spoiler removed and the antenna removed so its smooth. still gotta put the windscreen in cause it was remove before painting, same with the hardtop.
the photos were taken on a cloudy day, it should look a lot brighter in the sun.

quoted for truth!
That looks amazing!
Kudos to you, your car looks fantastic!
The rims, whilst some may bag them for being too big, too heavy, etc set the car off rather well.
AWESOME!!

Hey Sliq I agree with you but I tend to look at things with a non-mx5 viewpoint.
Most "outsiders" don't understand the lightweight/handling concept and just go for the look(TM) [refer to AGFP below]
and with these rims, this car has the look(TM)
Mind you it really needs to be dumped on its ass
Then its attention-grabbing-female-potential [AGFP] with be off the FFG scale.
Please note that the AGFP is not to be confused with its male equivalent [AGMP] which is generally reserved for SP's

Great colour, it looks like they did a fantastic job!
I agree with Sliq, some polished nb8b wheels would set that off IMO. Although the chromies you have now don't look as bad as I would have thought they would.
I look forward to seeing it when you've finished, and yes with that color and those wheels it needs to be at least anouther inch lower .

Re:
Thanks Guys, I'm really happy with it
It does look a lot better in real life.
nah i only got the outside done cause thats all what i really needed (cause when i waxed the car, paint would sorta come off), but under the bonnet is done and just around the sides of under the bonnet is done.
Yeh i might get it lowered again.
Ill take more photos in daylight, its meant to be really shinny red.
My uncle told me he normally charges $6000 for this paint job. i payed the price of the materials which was $1000.
