URGENT HELP wing mirrors

I have just got some carbon wing mirrors and am unsure how to get the old ones off - are there any tricks to get them off i should know about?

so when it says turn the outside mirror fwd that is towards the bonnet right?

Out of curiosity, why do the door speakers need to be removed? Is it an access to the bolts issue (although tye're screws aren't they?) for physical removal or is it related to the electricity supply?

From the diagram, it appears that is the easiest access to the wiring plug.

from those pictures it looks like the plug for the mirror is just behind the speaker

When I took out the factory door speakers, I didn't notice any other wiring loom in there. Mind you, I didn't exactly shove my hand up and around to try and find it. Makes sense though now that I think about it properly.
