They are going to confiscate my car if I take it back again!

Seriously, If I take Cherry back to Dick @ Mx5 Factory Im sure he is going to confiscate it!

Last week the day before I went to hospital I put Cherry up the ass of an old Civic. This time is technically my fault. It was wet and the car infront of the civic planted the breaks and indicated late for a right hand turn, the civic laid on the anchors. I breaked as hard as I could, but it was wet and Cherry went into a slide.... right up the civic's ass.

Supprisingly there was little damage to either car but I will have to lodge a claim becasue apparently I have crumpled up under her boot as well as the bumper. Because I was breaking so hard there was alot of downforce and my nose largley went under the civic.

Dick just put on a new nose on Cherry after the f$#kwit ex boyfriend crashed it into the garage!

One more nose job this month and you'll have to change your nick to Michael Jackson.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Isn't that always the way?

As soon as you get your car sprayed, you have a minor bingle and have to get it done all over again.

Last year, someone ran up the back of my Merc and just managed to crack the rear bumper.
I got the car fixed, and 2 days after I got it back, some a***hole keyed the side of my pride and joy when it was parked.

I got one better. Had the front scoop resprayed at MXfactory. Picked it up, the missus drove home, straight up the driveway instead of on an angle and hey presto, one scratched front scoop!

My 'old' AU III XR8 ute...

Bought new in June 2003.

March 2004 repair rear bumper after some moron backed into it.
May 2004 complete respray after being caught in a microburst which picked up gravel from a DMR pile in the southern highlands. (even the sports bar & all glass was replaced!)
July 2004 hail repair on bonnet and roof after being caught in a hailstorm down the coast.
September 2004 traded in on another car.

NRMA paid out on all of them.

PS. Don't buy red AU III XR8 utes!

I had a Nissan Micra that I swear was cursed:

Mate of mine managed to run up the arse of it in his bull bar equipped Hilux, got that fixed then someone drives out of a side street without stopping and managed to get all of the right hand side. Sometime later I managed to give a Subaru a tap from behind, at which point at least two thirds of the car has been resprayed.

Not long after a council tractor mowing the nature strip on the freeway manages to spit a chunk of wood into the (recently resprayed) bonnet and leave another ding.

Great little car but an accident magnet, I traded it in on the MX5 as soon as I could.
