Half a detail and hailstorms

Did a half detail job on the car this morning. Just clayed the car all over. First time doing it too, and man am I impressed. Really cleans up the car a lot, although admittedly it was fairly clean to begin with. Biggest problem is that now that most of the dirt is gone, I can see all the scratches
Next time I do this, we'll set aside a bit more time and actually get the random orbital buffer out with the pads etc and really give it a going over to remove swirls/scratches/etc.
Did my mates' white subaru liberty first, and that thing was dirty as. You could feel the bar dragging all the crap off it. Not to mention all the tree sap that had gotten on there from a park under a tree not too long ago. That stuff took a bit more elbow grease to remove.
I also got some photos of the hailstorm that just passed. Luckily for me, the car got parked in the garage because the folks were out. Otherwise I'd be ever so pissed, not to mention paying a visit to hume smash. Although I'd get some new panels all over if that happened, which would be nice, but a pain in the ass.
Anyway, photos here:

Also note my nice new shiny bits a la tinting, clear indicators, and side mount bracket (yes I know it's a little wonky... I'll fix it soon )
Incidentally, does everyone's side mount bracket sit that low?
