Installed a few new bits...

Hey all,
Just though I would post up some pics of some new things I have installed.
NB Mazdaspeed pedals, have been in for a couple weeks, they feel great, and look even better.
Since installing the BD Bar about a year ago, its been very hard to see out of the rearview mirror. I decided to finally remove the standard NA rearview mirror, and install a windshield mounted mirror a little lower.
To fill the hole the NA mirror left, I installed a NB interior light. Its not great, but its better than what I had before.

Thanks Sliq, yeah I have been doing quite alot to it lately.
I have been saying for the past 18 months, that im going to replace the roof, but I keep finding other things to do instead.
Its all good, except for the rainy days when there is water dripping on my head, and im looking at all the bits in my car, and shaking my head lol..
Now get back to work Sliq..

where'd you get them pedals from Ry?
sounds a bit like me. i keep telling myself i'd get a new exhaust and hard top but a new grille can car bra is already on its way from the US. maybe even HID's
shame on us!

Why does the clutch pedal have more grips than the brake pedal?
I woulda thought the other way around...
Also, are they drill or no drill?

I'm curious to know too. Some of the pedals look like drill, others look like no drill.

Thanks for the nice comments guys..
In order for them to fit into an NA, you need a Late NB footrest. It no big deal the footrest is a direct swap for the NA (uses the same bolt holes), it cost me $23 from mazda for the part.
The pedals are attached in 3 different ways. The footrest cover requires you to drill into the plastic footrest underneath, and fit the self tapping screws you get with it.
The accelerator cover is attached with 2 bolts/nuts, through existing holes in the pedal. The brake and clutch are rubber backed like the standard rubber covers. Its just a matter of removing the standard covers, and building up enough strength to pull the rubber backing over the pedal.

Ah very nice...only problem I can see is driving barefoot on a cold morning...I found out the fun way with mine
Funny you say the NB interior light isnt that great....I find the one in my SE fantastic....heck compared to standard NA lights its a godsend

I've had the same peddles on my car for over a year now and they work and look great, bit of a pain to install though.
My only rcomendation after having them on for an extended period is you have to keep the foot well and the soles of your shoes very clean as the anodizing starts to ware off.
Will post some pics if i get home in daylight tonight.

The times I've dríven barefoot on my SE pedals haven't given me any problems, but I usually don't go barefoot unless I'm wearing thongs, and I don't usually wear thongs unless it's hot out
