Hey guys i have a couple of annoying little thing with the MX.
First thing:
When i am takin off and stopping at slow speed i can hear water moving bakwards and forwards at the left hand side of my car. Its like it is trapped somewhere or there is something that is blocked where water is meant to run out of.
Second thing:
When i have my hard top on it seems that the rubber seals are making contact along the back part of it but are not sealing enough because when i am goin over bumps it is squeeking heaps. Is there a way i can adjust something to make them seal tighter together.
Please help!!!!!

Mmmmm . . . Brad, give me a ring and lets organise a get together.
The water is an easy fix . . . wire to clear the drain holes front and rear of the sill . . . squeak may be beatable too.

Funny I'm having the same water issue. When I stop at low speed I'm hearing a splashing sound around the left door/front area.
I've cleaned out my rear drain sills. And the door drain hole is dry, could it be blocked further along the door?...I could remove the door trim to investigate further.
I had a similar squeeking issue but with my soft top along the front. Adjusted the hex nuts on the locking clamps to tighten the fit when closing the roof. Unsure about the hard top...still yet to grab one.

Check all the sill drains in the curved panel under the doors are clear. Poke in them with a zip tie or a wooden skewer.

Your Frankenstein volts may be loose. If not then they will need shimming.

The hardtop has adjustments at the front latches the same way the softtop adjusts.
It also has adjustment shims under the rear chrome covers on the hardtop. There is a small phillips head screw on the side of the chrome cover to open the cover.
With the hardtop mounted onto the car undo that screw and swivel the chrome cover out of the way. You will see 2 bolts holding the adjustment shim in place. Loosen the bolts and move the shim around to the optimum position. Sometimes the plastic coating wears off the shims which also causes squeaks as the shim rubs against the hardtop post. Removing the shim and flipping it over so that the worn plastic faces down may help this.

Garry that's awesome. My hardtop is squeaking and rattling pretty badly over bumps....think I'll take all the clips apart and try and adjust them
