I don't know what the point of that gusset this at the end is. Looks like it goes where the boot and fuel lid release is...

Looks like it resists the tunnel/floorpan twisting relative to the rear firewall.

There's a few pieces you can weld into the NA to make the body more rigid like the NB.

I'll try and find some more pics when I have some spare time.
