hey let me know if u find a place that sells them :D
u could try the jaycar slimline one it has an inbuilt amp and comes in a ported box about 7cm high but it's only a 10\" and 150WRMS from memory but i'm not sure how it would sound

I would recommend auditioning any shallow subwoofer before you buy.

I work in the audio industy and have tested the pioneer and other brands of Shallow woofers, they have a distinclty different sound.

Not bagging them, for there size and their inherent design limitations they are not bad but if you are used to normal size woofers you may be a little disappointed.

Maybe also have a look at Rockford Fosgates new P3 Shallow subs, they ended up lasting the longest during power testing. :D

cheers

I have seen that at JB HiFi sometimes ago.. I was looking for one of this before too, but I found that it wont fit behind the seat for MX5 :| .. ie you will need to put this in the trunk and I then will think it is better to get the \"proper\" one

JB Hi-Fi sometimes stock those slim pioneer subs...i am looking at getting one to replace my tube sub. whenever i go in store though they seem to have run out of stock. great for mx5s and utes.
Im fitting a 6\" tube sub behind the passengers seat...these slim subs will fit even better.
