hey guys,
i seemed to have burned off the paint on a small section of my spoiler while using my new orbital polisher today...it LOOKS like it went straight through to the primer layer(creamy/white colour)...

is there any way to fix it other than touch up paint?

get it repainted, or take the spoiler off?

It is very easy to take paint off... not easy to put it back...

Respray or take it off... either way, it's not cheap to put paint back on.

yeah, i applied a bit of touch up paint to it, came up ok...im tinkering with the idea of putting a black mazdaspeed decal over it as its just a very little area and the decal would look kinda 'stealth' on black paint....

lesson for today: slower speed for machine polishing is good for amateur detailers. oh well...live ya learn

That is the idea. One of the oldest tricks in the computer trade is to stick a big warranty/warning sticker on a case with a minor scratch.
