can the auxmod be fitted to a 2001 NB8B headunit??
If you are talking about the circuit board auxmod basic from Sylfex(?) in the US that plugs into the tape plug on the head unit then yes it does. I have one in my car.
It's only foible for the MX5, as published on the Sylfex website is that you need to adjust the volume knob when you first switch to tape to get it to work.
On my particular car if I'm listening to my MP3 player then switch everything off to buy some fuel or similar then get back in and restart it, if I turn the key too quickly sometimes it gets itself in a bit of a knot and I have to turn everything off and restart it. If I turn the key and pause for a moment at the accesory position before going to the start position it seems to work OK. Apart from that it's excellent.
But you cant control the MP3 player with my version.
