Like the topic suggested, will the factory soft top tonneau cover fit whilst the hardtop is being used on the Miata?

I don't think so... You won't need it though, the hardtop will protect the soft top from the sun. :D

Fair enough :D
Any way to hide the soft top though? Alternatives?
Just a personal choice sort of thing, wanting to keep my interior clean looking

I've been chasing something as well as the rear window is so big It offers no sun protection for the softtop

Yes you do want to protect the folded softop from sun damage.

The factory torneau does the job well, you just don't clip in the very ends to make room for the hardtop's \"B pillar\" clips. Tuck them under the torneau and out of the way.

The hardtop has padded brackets which push down on the softop clips to stop them rattling. These will leave a temporary impression on the torneau cover - should stretch out next time its in the sun without the hartop on.

I have mine on with the hardtop installed. Just that it doesn't fit around the back edge near the bodywork, or on the sides. Is certainly enough to completely cover the inside of the soft top and prevent sun damage though. Looks quite good if all tucked away neatly too.

Will take some pics this w'end if anyone is interested, as I happen to have it like this at the moment...

I use a black towel. I couldn't get the tonneau to look neat when I tried.

Ive got a soft top cover for when the top is down...

It does clean up the interior, but when you take the hard top off you will also need to take off the tonneau cover cos the wind will blow it right into the back of your head (its happened before!)

Will try to get some pics out shortly

Ok, pics below. Is difficult to see how it fits around the sides and even at the back too, but it basically just stays out of the way! The third pic probably shows where the side of the cover sits the best of these pics.

Thanks for the pics NMX516. Much appreciated.
The tonneau cover doesn't look all that neat in my NA8, but I suppose it'll do the job.
It would be nice if I can get hold of an aftermarket tonneau cover though.
