Soft top repairer Northern Beaches?

Took the MX to work the other day - first time I had dríven it in about 2 months for a whole bunch of reasons - and some A-hole slashed my new soft top to break into the car. 
My only consolation was that there was nothing in it to steal.
Anyway they left me with a 20 cm slash above the drivers seat. I've tried tape, gaffer and a few other ideas that searching here on provided, but figured I should get it properly repaired.
Anyone know a good roof repairer around Sydney Northern Beaches areas? From other posts here presume a good car upholsterer will do?
