Paintless dent removal guys can fix it . However, they'll need to access the area by drilling a couple of holes from the boot forward lip area or remove the roof at the rain rail and drill from that side. They plug the drilled holes with rubber grommets.

Ouch, I would rather leave them there than having a few new holes in the car.

Why not?

The more holes they drill, the lighter the car will be! :D

Have you ever checked out Slammer's car?
Looks like a Swiss Cheese convention.

The dent guys I have seen work never drill holes (that's butcher stuff).

Get a few opinions as they don't always need to get under the dent to repair it. There are some dents however that will need a conventional repair.

The guys I use regularly fly the world chasing hail storms and have been most recently in the US, Germany and now lovely Newcastle! What a let down hey.

Anyway PM me if you want their contact details. (Oops you're in SA, pray for hail I guess!)

Good luck!

So how do they work the metal back to its original state?

I guess the easiest way to put it is they suck!

Gluey stuff and special tool to pull / suck it out - then massage it down.

Sounds rude hey?

Yes, sounds like the paint would get damaged too.

You would be surprised how tough the paint is - these guys seem to know how far to push - I have yet to see them damage paint.

I too was a sceptic JBT, but have seen these guys do great work even on ripple marks from pushing the panels too hard.

As I said originally - there are some dents that will always require a conentional repair.

Where are you based FoxForceFive?

These guys cover north of the Harbour Bridge to Newcastle - but need to plan their days accordingly.
