The vynil ones on the NA/NB can be repaired by plastic welding.... I don't know how you'd go with the farbic ones, maybe it can be sewn up??

Just as a side note. Did they slash the roof to steal something from the car. If so, it is a good idea not to leave anything in plain view when leaving the car. I did leave a few things in the cockpit and had three windows smashed as punishment.

A good auto trimmer should be able to fix it for you.
The way they would probably do it is firstly bring the torn bits together and glue on a patch underneath to seal the tear, then he will probably hand stitch the tear together to prevent it from opening up again and also to make sure the patch doesn't come adrift.

Should cost from around $50-$100 to fix and he can probably do it while you wait.

ohh well sounds like you are going through insurance?

Just call your insurance company and get it replaced....it's a new car,if you patch it up it will look crap.
