For NA6, what battery?
And where? I need it tonight before shops close, there's a supercheap around the corner (im in wentworthville)

Yup. Standard lead acid batteries give off small amounts of corrosive fumes, which is fine if the battery's in a well ventilated spot. However, the boot of an MX-5 is anything but well-ventilated
