Which Ebay Stylebar to buy ?

Postby KAM » Thu Sep 28, 2006 12:38 pm

Bling time :D

Which Ebay Stylebar to buy ?
Read all the posts I could find about previous purchases.
Looks like Boags etc bought theirs from xs_power (they even have pictures of his car) their email address is info@ssautochrome.com
so it appears they are the same place and same product.
Same photo on the blue tarp and the red car with a different shaped bar !
US$41 plus US$75 shipping
Anyone bought from another Ebayer ?

Kam,

I bought from xs_power as well. Cheap as, no complaints, and they use FedEx which allows you to track the package.

Highly recommended!

Does the flip -up wind blocker have to come off? I guess it would be pretty simple to make one up to slip over the top of the bars some how though.

Answers:

1. The quality varies. It is a copy of the Racing Beat product.
2. Yes, it should but see anser above.
3. The holes in the wind blocker need to be re-drilled and then re-fit it.

Fitting instructions (including wind blocker mods) here.

I suppose you can't pay for publicity like that. :(

different seller...

I don't really have a leg to stand on. I posted those pics in a public forum, I just assumed no one would steal them and put them on eBay.

Sorry Boags, but you're now going to have to change the look of your car. He's slapped copyright text in the corner of the photos! :? 8)

The backrest can't tilt all the way back without rubbing on the horizontal brace sections, even though they have a cutout for the seat backrest :frown:

Mine fitted perfectly. Some have had issues with clearance. As far as the backrest. I lost all of about 1-2cm travel.

I was out bid on two occasions last week then had a bid on one which was to close on Monday.
Had a look Sunday night and they had closed the auction as item no longer available
How can they do that we can't withdraw a bid once its submitted :?:
