Cheap. :D

Not much too it. I usually wash the car, leave it wet and then clay bar it with a bucket of clean water with a drop of car shampoo in it. Just keep the bar wet (dunking it in the bucket is easiest) and slide it all over the paint. A quick wash or polish/wax/etc after will finish it off perfectly. :)

it is a bar of clay that helps remove contaminants from the paint surface.

Monsqueek... next time you see Todds white car. Run your fingers over his paint, then over yours.. the vast difference you feel is due to him clay barring his car.

Mine was done 6 weeks ago, and afterwards it was smooth as and took the wax better.

Cheers

All you want to know about clay ...

And here's my hint: if you leave it in the bucket after you finish using it - remember to remove it before emptying the bucket onto the lawn. :(

yeah clay rocks.

i do it directly after washing, before chamiosing, a bit of water helps.

preferably a whole day as we'd want to wash then clay then polish then wax/seal the paint afterwards... :)

i say we meet up one day at the CAREWASH on norwest boulevard and wash the car there....then we can go to someones house close by(WHO HAS SHADE COVER) to clay, polish, wax.

unless i have an essay due, i will be there!

BY the looks of that charher and the other cars that have been THOROUGHLY done, the outcome would be SO worth it.

Hi guys/gals..

My NC is in for its 1000 km service tomorrow so planning to do some \"detailing\" sometime in the next few days...

I have no affiliation to them, however can recommend http://www.waxit.com.au/ for buying your products. I've put two orders in for products including Klasse AIO and Paint Sealant, P21s and various other things (sprays, clothes, interior etc etc) and both orders have arrived within 48 hours...

:-)
