Soft Top Mod

Postby Okibi » Fri Sep 22, 2006 9:18 am

Here’s a mod I’ve had all the gear to do for a few years but had never found the time, I was going to take the roof off to do it but I managed with the roof on.

The underside of my soft top was wearing near both catches and the central hand hole, it also had a small 3mm gap where one of the seams was opening.

I glued a length of vinyl on the underside of the roof to seal everything up and protect the underside from more scuff marks.

Sorry for the quality of the photo

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I wasn't so worried about the roof's looks, more that it was wearing away.

I might try \"black\" out the rest to match.
