unopenable door?

Postby SuperMazdaKart » Wed Sep 20, 2006 8:25 pm

my drivers side door won't open from the inside. the handle won't move outwards when i pull it, can still lock & unlock it manually & remotely (after market central locking). have had to lower the window & open the door with the outside handle which works still.

any ideas? i'm trying to get into contact with the installer of the central locking/immobiliser for him to have a look.

simple problem??

There are rods that go from the handle (inside) to the catch that opens the door.

One of those must have popped out of its holder, if your lucky the holder hasn't snapped and you can just pop it back in.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
