I'm guessing the uk company you are talking about is prestige autotrim? If it is then I just got a roof from them. I got the mohair one with the glass window. I found the overall quality to be quite good. There were some chalk marks on the inside from pattern cutting, there were no instructions in it although they do have instructions on the website, and it doesn't come with a rain rail so you will either have to reuse yours or buy a new one. Apart from that they were very good. Cheap price and fast delivery.

Bolto,
Warren at Lee Bros. Albion has looked after me in the past but he tends to be pretty busy... If you're paying someone to fit the top I'd recommend getting them to source it, at least you won't get caught in the middle if something isn't quite right....

Cheers,

Based on previous experience, you don't want to arm 5-6 pissed MX5 drivers with power tools, a new softop, your car and then only let them use one arm to weild the tools as the other hands holding a beer.

Softop installation is best left to the pros - don't try it at home.

NOW... if you need a new turbo activator rod installed... DODGY DAY AWAITS !

Cheers

me & my mate have installed one and we did it in an afternoon (first go). it's not too difficult if you have the tools.
