Carbon bonnet and boot

Ping Jolt... I think it's your NB that has the carbon boot and bonnet... Care to share where you got it from and for how much?
I've also been looking to mod the OEM bonnet by putting in a vent to draw the hot air out from under there... the SE gets incredibly hot under the bonnet during a <cough> 'spirited' run...

but by the time I get it installed, and repainted, it'll probably end up costing about the same as a new carbon bonnet.
Mania have them for the NAs but none that I've seen for NBs/SP/SE.
What other techniques have others used to keep their engine bay cool?
BTW, does anyone else have difficulty getting in touch with Mania? I have left about 10 messages over the past week now for Simone re some second hand wheels she has, but I haven't heard a peep back...

(I've kinda given up waiting... so conchaae will call you when I get home).

That is exackry what I'm after *rubbing hands together Mr Burns' style*
So anyone know how much and where I can get it from locally? I've found heaps for GTRs, S15s and WRXs but it seems the MX doesn't even register on some of these performance mod places...

Jolt imported those Garage Vary pieces personally from Japan (ok ok, he lugged them back from Tokyo in his luggage)

Direct details of Sweet would be... ummm... sweet...

I'm slowly giving up on calling Mania now... I know they're busy, but it shouldn't take two weeks to return a phone call should it? - maybe they're just choosing to ignore me...

Simone, if you're reading this - pick up the phone and call me please...

Now, about Jolt... how on earth did he check-in a boot and bonnet into his luggage???

I so want his bonnet... are you gonna sell it... are ya are ya???

Check in luggage is basically on weight, rather than size. I mean ppl check in surfboards, etc with no problem, and of course the CF should weigh virtually nothing, and if it doesn't then you have a problem anyway

I've checked in a set of coilovers before, which come in this huge, almost coffin-sized box.

When I was a kid I brought back one of my surfboards from Hawaii, it is only 5'11\" but the company that wraps and boxes them use a standard 7 foot long box.
It was funny lugging such a huge box around from airport to airport.
I also know a guy who's girlfriends family brought a cozzie rear wing back from the UK for him. They had to cut it in half to bring it on the plane.

Roflmao at the truck!!
I wouldn't mind some cheap carbon fibre parts - maybe we should all chip in to send someone over to Japan and go shopping - and come back with a little excess luggage!

Im in Japan right now... I dont speak the language and have no idea where everything is
Im gonna head off to the us in a few hours and then drop back to Japan for a week in about 3 weeks time so hopefully I can locate Garage Vary as well as Autoworks Dewa...
I just need to convince my better half that Im going to try and purchase a body kit / Carbon Bonnet and possibly a full AWD gauge cluster

Garage Vary isn't a shop, it's a factory, so AFAIK it won't do you any good going there. If you're in Tokyo and need to find a place that can order it in, go to
www.carshop-nagano.co.jp PM me if you need directions...I don't think Carshop Nagano can get AWD clusters in, but you can certainly try asking...
