Antenna Question

Postby bigdog » Mon Aug 21, 2006 10:14 am

My friend has just replaced the power antenna on her NA8 LE and tells me that the antenna motor keeps running for around 3 seconds after the antenna is fully extended or retracted. Can anyone confirm if this is normal or not? If not, what can she do to fix it?

Thanks in advance! :D

The older models don't retract do they?
I had to unscrew mine and take it off to get the car cover on!

The NA8 antenna is powered and the NA6 was an \"unscrew it or lose it\" type - another reason NA8 is better than NA6

i kinda like my original long aerial on the NA6. wobbles in the wind & rather reminds me of remote control toy cars.

is there any sort of miniature antenna that can be screwed in to replace to original long whip antenna in the NA's?

the look of mine does bug me from time to time, but i like to listen to the radio too, so i dont want to remove it entirely..
