Keeping chrome *BLING*

Hi all,

I was just womdering if anyone cares to let me know of the secret to keeping chrome sparkling like new... I have a fair amount of it now, so I need to look after it all! :mrgreen:

Any help would be appreciated!

Windex and a lint free cloth.

Or a bit of metho mixed with water.
Treat much the same way as you would glass, with the exception that you don't have to clean it from the inside!

Meguires make some chrome cleaner. It comes in a small tub and is a paste.

One of the best ways I've found to do chromework is to 'polish' it with an old polishing cloth which has all your old paint on it... Don't put new polish on it, but leave it until last after polishing the paintwork. The residual paint and polish on the rag is all that's needed. Owners of red MX's will know what I mean when I say to polish the chrome with the red rag!

Works surprisingly well. The fine paint particles on the rag act as a very fine cutting agent. Learnt that one from an old car detailer ;)
