I got a little \"Fast Fours\" today...
and bought some of this....
And made this
So now shazza looks like this -
And all it took was some tin snips and a couple of zip ties Very happy with the result, and hopefully this will save my radiator some heartache (thanks for the idea JBT).
I have half a sheet of that stuff left over (easily enough to do another one if anyone wants to exchange a small token for it). It costs $24 from supercheap and you don't need a whole one, so part with a mere $10 for the rest of mine (i'm open to offers).

I have the same stuff lying around - looks like it'll do the job nicely to replace the one I lost on a club run. (no idea where that went). I also went halves with a mate who bought the stuff - he actually used his half on his Westfield.
It will do the job very nicely, but for a red car I think I'll stealth it with some black paint. it looks good on white, though.

Not required because you can (as I did) attach it behind the plastic uprights in the inner air intake mouth. BTW, those "transport hooks" are tow hooks regardless of all the cr@p you may read on miata.net

Good on ya Wayne
I'm in Aspley on the Northside. Find the Pick'n'Pay and i'm a stone throw from there.
When to do it? I'm a no good unemployed bum who occasionally reads books(i'm a student) so my timetable isn't flexible but fairly open
Thursday to Saturday anytime except Friday night (rugby training) is good, or Sunday afternoon.
Talk to you soon.

PS - I think our babies must be very similar! It'll be good to get them next to each other!
