Small slit in plastic window

Postby maxwolfie » Mon Aug 07, 2006 11:07 am

I think someone has gone and cut the back of my window for some reason, down the bottom on the seam between the black vinyl and the plastic itself....... I've taped it up since but the rain has made the tape come off (as you would expect considering the sh*t weather we have had as of late)

I dont really want to buy new plastic and get it sewn in, anyone got any ideas to \"seal\" the plastic and the vinyl back together?

The cut is about 15cm wide, so it's quite big

Due to the age of the plastic, I dont suggest the welding :( , but the other suggestion (although not the nicest looking), will solve it. (did it on my first NA, done neatly, you hardly notice it?)
