Reviving the paint

On my way to work yesterday morning, in typical fashion that nothing good comes from work, a stone chip struck. Got hit on the drivers pop up light cover and then it moved on to leave a nice chip in the windscreen about the size of a 10 cent piece. :x
My question is has anyone had any luck bringing some life back to the paint work on the 5? Overall my paint looks good, but in some places i have swirls, light scratches, chips and even markings near the petrol cap were previous owners have scraped the paint with the fuel pump. Anyone recommend any good products, or techniques to working on the paint, or even recommend someone that can do a good job in the Western Sydney area? Also has anyone ever had chips repaired in the windscreen, rough figures on cost? Thanks.

I've seen some of the guys here comment on Meguiars Smooth Surface Clay Kits to help with rough paint that needs some more life to it?

Head over to detailparadise.com.au and ask those guys what they think.

Or there is a detailers section on ozmazda.com that might be able to help you out as there are a few pro's on there.

Yeah thanks guys, will try and get a pic up of some of the places, i have been reading a few recent posts that suggest some products. Only time i will have to get a pic thought in clear light is probably saturday morning cause when i leave for work its dark and when i get back its dark too, gets like that in winter. Im supprised no one else has had trouble with marks near the fuel cap, seems like an easy thing to do if you a bit careless, not that im saying anyone is. :)
