One of mine was missing when I bought it. I just gave it a nice layer of silicon and left it a week or so before using. It worked fine and was still intact 2.5 years later.

Mine pealed off about the second time I used the hardtop. Mazda replaced them under warranty and they lasted about twice again. Crap design or crap adhesive.
