hi all ... hoping you enjoying this long weekend !!! but dont drive too fast PP
i got an issue, my headlight is playing up. it has been playing up since i got the car. sometime my headlight wont come on, but as i pull and/or push the headlight wires, sometimes it will come back on ...... i swapped the bulb around, it still doing the same thing. now eventually the passenger side bulb doesnt light up anymore. it is not the bulb issues, cos i swapped them around again and it's works.
and i am up to a stage where, i gonna give up the headlight .. and decided to install the xenon kit. but one thing stopping from doing it because i am not sure whether the wires is faulty or actually plug. can some1 help me how to check it out ? or if anyone from north shore would have a multimeter i can borrow for few seconds so that i can check that myself ?
many thank in advance, fif111

Sounds like a contact problem to me, i'd spray some contact cleaner into the headlight plug or WD40 if you don't have contact cleaner.
You can check the plug for power with a test light, a homemade one will do the trick.(Any 12 volt globe and 2 wires held to it(preferable soldered)
The 3 wires are power for hi and low beam and one for earth the thickest is highbeam and black or white for earth.
I'd also try a new earth conection too and its as simple as pushing a bare wire into the back of the plug against the earth wire terminal and then holding it to a bolt or nut on the body but if you get the 2 power wires you'll short out the fuse so be careful there.
Hope this helps!
