Cold Air Intake Headlight Covers - For NA

Postby JSE » Sat May 13, 2006 6:11 pm

I'm after some cold air intake headlight covers as the subject title says...does anyone know where I can get some apart from MX5 Mania?

The fiberglass and carbon fibre luster cover replaces the original NA headlight cover allowing cool air into the engine bay.\"

what about taking it to a metal fab place (just the cover) and mark out what you want cut out and they should be able to do it with a router or something... maybe even a laser cutting place?

just an idea...

Just bite the bullet and do the hole through the firewall. It's painfull at first to cut into the car (3 inch round hole) but the benefits are certainly noticeable! :)

I wouldn't mind one myself but I'd rather wait for a blue one to come around :P.

Yeha i like the raised one better as well fish. Only problem is I want two..one for the right and one for the left headlight so they match. one for cold air and the other to compliment/cosmetics.

ive got one of the raised ones from NZ, they look great and make a great noise with my unifilter sitting just behind it. he only has them for one side though which kind of sucks!

Yeah I've got the raised one also. I think they collect more air than most of the NACA duct ones.
