I did it with cable ties. 8) It sit behind the diagonal bar (on the NB version) an in front of rear supports.

First, you need to take the end caps off either side of the windblocker. Take the brackets off by undoing the nuts. Then, you unsrew the two screws on either end that clamp the plastic bit down onto the net. You take off the plastic bit and screw the net back on. This allows you to get as far forward as poosible towards the diagonal bar.

Place the windblocker behind the diagonal bar by moving the driver's seat forward and sliding it underneath the joing next to the driver's head.

Then onto the cable ties. They need to go between the roll bar base and the pastic trim on the seat belt towers. I managed to JUST squeeze them through. You'll need one cable tie for the top, and two for the bottom. Poke the between the bar supports and the plastic trim and then into the vacan holes left from the brackets on the windblocker The cable ties should look like this on the driver's side.

For the passenger side, I just looped the lower cable ties around the diagonal bar (no picture sorry). The cable ties can't be seen when the seats are reclined so if you're worried about the look of it, don't be.

Anyway, once you've done it for each side, that's it! The end result should look like this:

Best of all, it is fully functioning, so I can put it up whenever I need to, which isn't often. It is a tight squeeze on the passenger's side but it will still go up just fine. Second best of all, is it doesn't rattle. :)

Sorry about posting in an old thread but I had some free time today and tried doing this, biggest problem was removing the plastic end covers to get access to the bolts without breaking them.

Here are some photo's showing how they are attached (4 clip in tabs, 2 each side), as you can see they are hard to remove without breaking as the tabs are so small and you can't simply slide them up or down to remove them either.

So here is the easiest way I found to remove them without damage.
Push the platic covers outwards from the centre then carefully lift from the outer edge until you hear the tab disengage.
If you lift it too much you will break the tabs on the inner side, if you don't push it towards the outer edge before lifting then you will break the tabs on the outer side.

Pictures to show how it attatches.

(I'll try and add pictures of it installed with the BD later but not today since it just started raining and the car's not undercover)

Black 2000 NB8B, lowered with skirts, voodoo, pioneer head unit, bd roll bar, sparco sprint V, more mods coming soon...

Thank you SO much for doing this... this forum is a treasure! One drive without the windblocker and it instantly answered what the hell it was doing all this time :lol: You have to be insane to drive around in the cold / rain minus the blocker..

To have the windblocker back (minus the heavy metal brackets, wun911) AND fully functional... just brilliant.

Was so easy, shame I couldn't find black zipties... oh well, there's always permanent marker.. :P
