NA mx5 trans tunnel

hey guys,

would the transmission tunnel for an auto NA mx5 be larger than a manual NA mx5? does anybody know of the dimensions/sizes for either one?

edit - has anyone done an auto to manual conversion for their NA?

I think they're exactly the same.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Yes, some dude called Jason Sonja or similar in Alaska did it. It was quite involved and a lot more work than he was expecting. He did a writeup on his web page about it but I have no idea what the URL would be. Sorry.

PS The transmission tunnels are the same.
Shiney black one with added red bits. Member of the fart club. Now with extra doof and Sunlong. - deceased and gone to heaven

thanks guys, was hoping that the auto tunnel would be a bit larger than the manual.
