When my windows are half way up or so, you can grab them and move them up/down an inch... is this normal? They feel pretty loose.
Cheers

If I wind mine down say 1-4 inches they rattle like crazy and drive me nuts, its like the window is loose or not sitting in the door properly

I checked the bullet (still with original NA doors and windows) and it did not do it.

*sigh*.......i spose you want me to go & try the NC then???
Amanda. sounds like your window is sticking in the tracks a bit, that happens, our merc sprinter drives my wife nuts....LOL.......lubricate the side runners to start with.......until you do that, when you've wound it down to where you want it, just put some weight on the top of the glass with your hand & push it down into place, should stop the rattles......

Finally did my driverside window & track. There is no play in the NA's. There is a fraction of spring loading though. My passenger side window rattles a fair bit in comparison. I'll do that side in a few weeks.
but defenantly no play.
The window motor does have springs but i think its mainly for assembly purposes.
I'd imagine your car is still under warranty.......I'd be asking your dealership.
